Jotasha

Jotasha and Cyclic are space travelers from the planet USU (you-sou) who have crash-landed in the Land of I forest and become part of the daily excitement. (They are stranded until they can find the Duranium Crystals that disappeared upon landing.) Jotasha and Cyclic add a dimension of space travel and far-reaching possibilities into kids' lives. These visitors from outer space aren’t scary, but look very much like Earth children-- a little more advanced perhaps, but within the realm of the 21st century teachings.

Jotasha is a tweenager (twelve) and is a typical child of her planet. She is self-reliant, environmentally savvy and space-hip. Like "Dorothy" in the "Wizard of Oz", she wants to go home. Jotasha is from another culture, but she is similar to earth children in many ways. She has similar needs for food, shelter, clothing and family. She is multilingual and speaks English fluently.

Jotasha has decided that while stranded in the Land of I Forest, she will learn as much as she can about planet Earth, its dwellers and environment. Jotasha loves to take pictures and encourages the little characters to allow her to study their various earthly ways. Jotasha is interested in children’s causes and introduces kids to many concepts that can become school projects- such as teaching kids to become Tender Loving Caretakers of Planet Earth, to do what they can to help our planet become a safer, better place to live.
